The cabin with the best view of the upper lake water fountain! This cottage sits on a knoll overlooking the top lake, a serene setting with a lovely view of the water fountain as it creates a beautiful crescendo of water droplets that are caught in the sunlight and thrown to the wind.
Kick back in the living room and watch the 55 inch Samsung smart TV or the many birds that flit in and out of the trees.This one bedroom one bath is perfect for couples. Plenty of room to share in the King size bed. Enjoy the open deck just outside the living room with a beautiful view of the water. Stroll around the lakes and stop for a swing in the picnic area. Go for a hike on one of the two trailheads or enjoy an evening at the fire circle.
There is something for everyone here, whatever your speed... fishing, hiking, reading in the gazebo, watching the wildlife (we have lots of birds, squirrels, several ducks, chipmunks, wild rabbits and more), paddling in the ponds, building a fire in the fire circle or barbecue next to the lake. We are conveniently located close to some fun attractions. We are not far from the Green River and one of the top zip lines in the country. The North Carolina Playhouse, the Carl Sandburg House, and historic Flat Rock are all within easy reach. Take a short car ride to check out Jump of Rock, a scenic overlook with a panoramic view at over 3,000 ft elevation; if you have limited mobility you can still enjoy this spot.
Our location is conveniently located close to Hendersonville (10 min), Saluda (10 min), Historic Flat Rock (11 min), Biltmore Estate (35 min) and South Asheville (25 min) - We have Interstate access only a few blocks from our location while we are also surrounded by woods and natural game lands. You can hike to the Green River through the game lands. The natural beauty of this location is calming, refreshing, and relaxing. Join us for your next getaway!
